All archived documents which were created over 30 years ago can be freely accessed.
The cards provide detailed descriptions. They can be reproduced for study and research purposes, subject to a release form.

The archived heritage of Eni can be accessed by appointment, sending an e-mail request to: archivio.storico@eni.com, or using the "Request appointment" from the site.
The archive staff will process the request, asking the subject - title of the research (with period), its purpose, any archive references already known, and if necessary a letter of presentation from the teacher or head of the organisation.

It is possible to create your own list of research material by using the ‘Favourites’ option on the individual booklets and sharing the link of the list with the Archive e-mail.
The archive staff assist the researcher by producing extracts from the file plan according to keyword, supporting the creation of the request list, providing assistance with the physical consultation of the booklets and using the archive OPAC of the study room, and providing any other company or bibliographical tool helpful in concluding the research successfully.
The archive staff do not perform research for third parties.
The archive staff do not make reproductions on paper for third parties. In the event of evident impossibility of coming to the archive facility, the staff reserve the right to send a digital copy of the research material, also in relation to the quantity of documentation requested.
