This selection of newsreels was put together by the Istituto Luce and shows important moments in Eni's history. It includes the inaugurations of the first methane pipelines, refineries and motels, as well as the launching of ships for transporting gas and crude oil, and trips by Italian presidents to sign major commercial and research contracts. We also get a look into the holiday villages for employees, Metanopoli and all the sporting events - Mille Miglia, Supercortemaggiore Gran Prix, races at the Monza circuit - where Agip, its fuel and lubricants, were the stars.
